Lawson Lundell’s Competition Law Group regularly provides advice to clients on a variety of issues as they relate to domestic and international competition laws including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, pricing policies, distribution, licensing and other similar arrangements.

We provide a practical approach for our clients in implementing strategies within the competition/antitrust regulatory environment. Members of the Competition Law Group are also members of our Business Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and Litigation Groups and bring strategic thinking and an understanding of the overall corporate objectives of our clients to our competition law analysis and advice. We work with our clients in mergers and acquisitions in a cost-effective manner to achieve compliance on a timely basis. We routinely work with counsel in the United States, Europe and Asia to co-ordinate multi-jurisdictional filings in respect of international acquisitions.

Our clients include major international and domestic corporations. We have particular experience in the resource sector, advising clients in the forestry, mining and energy industries, as well as in the commercial real estate and hospitality sectors and transportation sector.
