We are committed to providing and supporting programs of education and training. We have a Director, Associate & Student Development who is committed full-time to assisting our students and associates with their professional development. Our philosophy is to encourage each lawyer and student to develop their professional skills to the highest degree:

• we believe in learning by doing. Each student and lawyer is given as much responsibility as he or she can manage. However, an opportunity exists for rapid career development for those who develop skills quickly. But we don’t take a "sink or swim" approach; all of our lawyers are committed to providing support and advice as needed;
  
  
• we believe in fostering relationships. Students in each of our offices are encouraged to form relationships with their colleagues at our other offices and to attend Associates’ Dinners when possible;
  
  
• we believe that learning is an ongoing process. We’re committed to fostering continuing legal education, both internally and externally, and at all levels of practice. Lawyers are encouraged to attend seminars and conferences on a diverse range of topics.
