Members of our Protection of Privacy and Freedom of Information Group provide advice to both private and public sector clients regarding access to personal information requests; dealing with privacy requests that arise in the course of corporate transactions or employee matters.
We draft access requests for our clients for information held by governmental organizations. We also advise third parties on access to information requests which affect their business interests or confidential information and prepare objections to disclosure on their behalf.
Members of our group are involved in drafting and revising privacy policies specific to their organizations and advising on compliance with privacy legislation including privacy aspects of electronic commerce.
