Randall practices corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on corporate finance and securities and mergers and acquisitions. He works with public and private sector clients in a wide range of industries including, natural resources, technology, manufacturing and financial services.
Randall has been involved in a broad range of transactions including, public debt and equity financings, private placements, reorganizations, plans of arrangement and amalgamations, take-over bids, private equity investments, and various share and asset acquisitions and divestitures. He also advises public companies on regulatory matters, continuous disclosure and corporate governance practices.
As part of his corporate and commercial practice, Randall advises private equity firms in connection with their investments and acquisitions, including the continuing affairs of the investment entities.

- The formation and establishment of a $100 million private investment fund
- A $138 million cross-border offering of convertible debentures by a TSX listed silver mining company
- Public offerings and private placements of an aggregate of $225 million of equity and convertible debt by a Western Canadian TSX listed mining company
- The $100 million initial public offering by a mining exploration company on the TSX Venture Exchange
- An investment by a private equity firm in a leading manufacturer of electric floor heat systems
- The acquisition of port terminal facilities by an infrastructure fund of a global financial institution
- The acquisition by a private equity firm of a North American importer and distributor of chocolate, specialty dessert and pastry ingredients
- A $182 million cross-border equity offering by a TSX listed silver mining company
- The reverse takeover of a TSX listed company by an Australian gold mining company
- The formation and establishment of a $140 million private equity fund
