Laura practices civil litigation, with a particular focus on environmental, aboriginal and constitutional law issues. She has appeared before the British Columbia Provincial Court, British Columbia Supreme Court and has appeared as junior counsel at the British Columbia Court of Appeal.

Laura joined Lawson Lundell as a summer student in 2007. After law school she served as a law clerk at the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and following her clerkship, completed her articles at Lawson Lundell.

Prior to law school Laura had a career in public service. For several years Laura was a consultant for the Federal Government on matters relating to aboriginal rights and title claims. Laura also worked as a policy analyst for a commission in the UK where she assisted in the development of the policy framework for the independent investigation of complaints against the police.
