Justin practices corporate and securities law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance (both public and private). He regularly advises public and private companies on a wide range of legal compliance and corporate governance matters.
Justin has also acted extensively for entrepreneurs and early-stage technology companies as well as for venture capital investors. Justin has acted on over 40 private financings, including approximately $200 million in venture capital financings, since 2005.
Prior to joining Lawson Lundell, Justin worked with leading business law firms in Toronto and Ottawa.

- Justin was awarded the Law Society's Third Prize for attaining the 4th highest cumulative grade in the Ontario Bar Admission Course and the Osgoode Society for Canadian Legal History Prize for the 25 students attaining the highest grades in the Ontario Bar Admission Course.

Justin has recently been involved in representing:
- A TSX listed technology company in its $31 million bought deal financing
- A TSX listed medical device company in its acquisition of a surgical robotics company, its $20 million bought deal financing and its $40 million initial public offering
- A CPC in its qualifying transaction with an Ontario based clean technology company
- A Silicon Valley based venture capital fund in its US$11 million investment in a Canadian IP Address Management company
- A TSX listed biotech company in its various public and private financings and ongoing corporate and securities work, including its recent private placement and $25 million public offering
- The acquirers in a management buy-out of a registered LSIF manager
- A California based clean technology company in its Series B financing, and previously in its Series A and bridge financings
- A Canadian nutraceutical company in its recent bridge financing and previously in its Series A, Series B and Series C financings
- A TSX-V listed Canadian managed service provider in its $18 million acquisition by a United States technology company
- A TSX listed biotech company in its business combination with a privately held commercial-stage medical device company, and previously in its IPO and various ongoing corporate and securities work
