In the banking and commercial lending area, Andrew has broad experience advising a variety of lenders and a variety of borrowers on all aspects of debt financing matters.
In the commercial real estate area, Andrew advises developers, oil sands producers, pension funds, landlords and tenants with all aspects of real estate.
In the energy area, Andrew assists clients with complex oil and gas title matters and the various agreements related to the exploitation of mineral interests and the negotiation of acquisition and divestiture transactions. In addition, he has acted for lenders and borrowers in relation to oil and gas financings.

Experience
Transactions in which Andrew has recently been involved include:
- Financing transfers representing both lenders and borrowers in various transactions, including a lending transaction in excess of $1 billion
- Represented oil sands producers in relation to commercial documentation of real estate related matters including leasing, subleasing and rights of way and easements
- Represented a land developer in all aspects of the development of land from the raw land assembly through to disposition to the commercial and residential end-users
- The acquisition of significant oil sands and petroleum and natural gas assets by an oil sands developer
- Represented a major mining company with a spin-out of its oil and gas and mining royalties
- Represented institutional investors and pension fund advisors with the acquisition and disposition of commercial and industrial properties
