Amy is a solicitor practicing corporate and commercial law with a focus on the renewable energy industry. She has significant experience advising businesses at all stages of corporate proceedings and commercial transactions, including buying and selling businesses, key assets and equipment, constructing new facilities, and investing in private companies and partnerships, as well as negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts.
Amy enjoys assisting the Firm’s clients to achieve the best results by providing practical and timely advice.
Recently, she has represented clients with the purchase and financing of a wind power generation facility, the purchase and sale of renewable energy including renewable energy credits and other green attributes (custom agreements as well as confirmations pursuant to the WSPP, EEI and ISDA agreements), and the negotiation of capacity funding, consultation and impact benefits agreements with First Nations in relation to proposed developments in the energy and other industries.
