Amanda Kemshaw’s practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution, with an emphasis on public law and class actions, as well as aboriginal law and corporate/commercial matters. Amanda has appeared as counsel in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the BC Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Manitoba, the Federal Court of Appeal and before the Ontario Licence Appeal Tribunal.
Before joining Lawson Lundell, Amanda was an associate in Toronto at another leading law firm. During her articles, she was seconded to the Enforcement Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission and worked in Australia at a non-profit legal clinic for underprivileged youth. Prior to her law career, Amanda worked as a tactical crime analyst with the Calgary Police Service’s sex crimes, child abuse, homicide and robbery units.
